Our Faculty's Biology Department students, accompanied by Prof. Dr. İskender GÜLLE and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Duygu Ceren ÇAĞLAN KAYA, participated in the World Migratory Bird Day event organized at Gölhisar Lake by our University's Wildlife Conservation, Rehabilitation Application and Research Center and Burdur Nature Conservation and National Parks 6th Regional Directorate.

At the event, our Biology Department students first visited Gölhisar Lake, where they had the chance to closely observe migratory species such as the peregrine falcon and stork, as well as species like the greylag goose, great crested grebe, red fox, coot, great egret, grey heron, and marsh harrier. The event continued with a guided tour of the ancient city of Kibyra, where both the city and the birds in the area were observed. In the final stage of the program, they visited the wildlife in the Kibyra picnic area located in the district.
